Educational institutions of Mykolaiv region received thermopots with the support of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints
Volunteers of ADRA Ukraine at the end of August transferred 12 electric thermopots with a volume of 30 liters to the catering units of educational institutions of the Bashtansky district of the Mykolaiv region. These thermopots are needed for children studying in lyceums, gymnasiums and preschool education institutions to have drinks in the cold season. Humanitarian aid is supported by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
The administration of institutions is satisfied with high-quality thermopots, because they are energy efficient, boil water at lower power and retain heat like a thermos. The volume of 30 liters allows to give drink more than for 100 children. So, Olga Savchenko, director of the Berezneguvatsky kindergarten named “Sun,” where 135 children study, says: “Since the water in our village is not very high quality, we give our pupils only boiled water. Thanks to this thermopot, which will retain heat for a long time even when the lights are turned off, we can give children warm water in the cold seasons. We are grateful for such help! ”
One thermopot was delivered to educational institutions located in the city of Snigurivka, and villages: Berezneguvate, Visunsk, Vilne Zaporizhzhia, Kaluga, Shevchenkove 2, Pavlivka, Yuryivka, Kalynivka. Also to the food blocks of kindergartens, gymnasiums and lyceums, ADRA Ukraine, with the support of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, establishes water purification stations.
