Evacuated residents of Kharkiv region received food vouchers with the support of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints
In September, in Kharkiv, ADRA Ukraine volunteers distributed 2,000 vouchers for “ATB” stores with a nominal value of 500 UAH to evacuated residents of the region with the support of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
It was planned to distribute vouchers in the settlements of the Kupyansky district – Kurilovska and Dvorechanska communities. However, due to the aggravation of the situation at the frontline, evacuation was announced, and people were forced to move to safer communities near Kharkiv. This situation made a shift in the timing of assistance, which occurred in several stages during September.
Volunteers of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Kharkiv joined the distribution of vouchers. Distribution took place in church premises located in safe areas of the city.
Information about the evacuated beneficiaries was provided by the Kharkiv Coordination Center.
