Evacuation trips to safer regions for people with disabilities are carried out
With the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Germany (German Federal Foreign Office) and ADRA Germany, the project on evacuation of the population living in the territories subject to regular shelling is being implemented.
Recently, ADRA Ukraine has provided transport assistance to eight people who were previously evacuated from such towns as Lyman, Bakhmut, Toretsk, and Sloviansk of Donetsk region to the Center for temporary accommodation of people with reduced mobility of retirement age and people with disabilities evacuated from hot spots, located in Dnipro.
Thanks to the charitable organization, these persons were further evacuated from Dnipro to a safer city – Uman, Cherkasy region.
The project also covers such areas of assistance as social transportation, psychological support, legal and financial assistance, preparation of shelters for winter, etc.
