Fifty-nine cash certificates for housing reconstruction have been received by residents of three villages in Cherkasy region
Within the framework of the project “Hope for Ukraine”, with the support of ADRA Ukraine and “Nadiya” TV channel, residents of such villages as Palanka, Synytsia and Rozsishky in Cherkasy region have received assistance in the form of cash certificates for purchase of construction materials.
Project volunteers have visited residents of these settlements where a large number of houses have been damaged by hostilities and shelling. During the visit, they have assessed the degree of damage to buildings and have purchased relevant certificates that can be exchanged for building materials for restoration and reconstruction of houses. The amount of assistance varies depending on degree of damage to the building. A total of 59 certificates with value of 4,500 to 14,000 hryvnias have been distributed.
The project “Hope for Ukraine” provides assistance to victims of the war in several areas: food and non-food assistance, evacuation, shelter and restoration of damaged houses, doors, windows and others.
