Food aid from the UN WFP was delivered to residents of a front-line village in the Mykolaiv region
On December 11, ADRA Ukraine employees distributed food kits from the UN World Food Programme (WFP) with the support of ADRA Switzerland for 56 residents of the village of Limantsi, Horokhiv community, Mykolaiv region.
The distribution of aid was agreed in advance with the village headman, but direct entry to the territory of Limantsi was temporarily prohibited by the military due to increased danger. Security efforts are ongoing in the village, in particular, protective nets are being installed due to the activity of enemy FPV drones and reconnaissance drones.
In view of these circumstances, the ADRA Ukraine team decided to conduct the distribution in the neighboring village of Novotymofiivka. Employees of the charitable organization took the residents of Limantsi from the bus stop to the place of delivery, registered them, and after receiving the food kits, they took the people back to the village.
