With the support of ADRA Slovakia, food kits have been distributed in Izium that was isolated for a long time and was in a critical humanitarian situation. Thanks to the prompt interaction of volunteers and employees of ADRA Ukraine, 1,320 food kits have been distributed at the rate of one food kit per family. This assistance has been provided to 4,000 people in Izium.

Also during this week, ADRA Ukraine, with the support of UNICEF, has started distribution of drinking water to residents of Izium. 20,736 liters of water have been delivered, and it is planned to reach 1,728 people in total.

Assistance from ADRA Ukraine in cooperation with the UN World Food Program continues being provided in more than eight regions of Ukraine. In particular, this is the distribution of food kits for various purposes, bread, food certificates. For the entire period of implementation of the project, the assistance has been provided in 12 regions of Ukraine and reached the following levels: 1,054,958 food kits, about 10,171,000 loaves of bread and food certificates for a total amount of UAH 69,368,500 have been distributed.

Food assistance is being actively provided in settlements of Donetsk region, where there is an acute need for food, drinking water, and hygiene means. Humanitarian cargoes have been delivered to such settlements as Druzhkivka, Kostiantynivka, Mykolaivka, Siversk, Girnyk and others.

The direction of financial assistance within the framework of several projects has reached new heights. Currently, the stage of verification of accepted applications and the direct stage of payments is being realized. As of today, more than 26,960 people have already received financial assistance, amounting to a total of UAH 179,553,600.
