Fundraising secrets from the trainers from Czech Republic

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Fundraising Training is the fourth training in the framework of the project “Enchancing civil society’s management, fundraising and communication in Ukraine”, which is being implemented through the financing of the Visegrad Fund and the Government of the Netherlands.

“You ask for money – get advice, ask for advice – get money” – is the first rule that coaches willingly shared with the participants of the training. Jan Kroupa and Olga Nikolska are masters of fundraising from the Czech Republic, who trained to collect money correctly.

5 Fundraising Secrets from Olga Nikolska:

  1. People give people to people
  2. Believe in what you are doing
  3. No relationship – no money
  4. Speak in clear language
  5. Not always “no” means “no”

5 Fundraising Secrets by Jan Kroupa:

  1. Ask, ask and ask again
  2. Speak confidently
  3. Fundraising is not about money, but about people
  4. Do not attend the meeting alone
  5. Do not forget to say “Thank you”

We remind that Fundraising is the fourth training within the framework of the project “Enchancing civil society’s management, fundraising and communication in Ukraine” implemented by 5 partner organizations ADRA Slovensko, ADRA Chekh Republic, ADRA Ukraine, Polish Medical Mission and Hungarian Baptist Aid – for financing the program of the Visegrad Fund and the Government of the Netherlands.
