How to find internal support was taught at a psychological training in Chernihiv
On July 15, a psychological training on the topic «Internal support» was held at the ADRA Ukraine Protection and Support Center in Chernihiv. Psychologist Yuliya Bogush and facilitator Vladyslava Voilo helped the participants develop emotional self-regulation skills, get to know their own resources better and strengthen internal stability. The event was implemented within the framework of the “MHWP” project with the support of the Canadian government and ADRA Canada.
In times of war, the feeling of support takes on special importance. During the training, the participants performed exercises to realize — exactly what support they currently lack and who among the environment can provide it. At the same time, it was also about internal support: the one that is not limited to hobbies, work, family or favorite things. The most important support — is ourselves. That is why the participants practiced techniques that helped to focus on their own resources and internal stability.
A separate part of the training was devoted to the power of social connections. It turned out that in the circle of each person there are those who are able to support, listen, give advice — or simply give a sincere smile.
