IDPs in Ternopil region have received food assistance from ADRA Ukraine with the support of ADRA Slovakia
On July, 31, 240 food and hygiene kits were distributed to internally displaced persons and their families in Ternopil. The event took place within the food assistance direction of ADRA Ukraine due to the project in cooperation with ADRA Slovakia. The distribution of kits was coordinated in cooperation with the local self-government and reached more than 700 people.
The assistance consisted of family kits with a total weight of 15 kg, containing basic food products, canned goods, cereals, pasta, oil, etc., as well as personal hygiene means. Food assistance was aimed at the most vulnerable categories of IDPs who suffered as a result of military operations, including elderly people, families with children and large families, people with disabilities, etc.
In general, with the support of ADRA Slovakia, more than 16,640 families in Ukraine have already received this type of food assistance since the beginning of the project.
