In Chernihiv city, at a neurography lesson, children learned to fulfill their desires
On March 28, in the premises of the Children’s and Teenage Children’s Club “Ukraina” (EN: Ukraine) in the city of Chernihiv, a neurography lesson for adolescents 15-17 years old was held. ADRA Ukraine psychologist Julia Bogush and facilitator Vladislava Voilo conducted classes on the topic named “My Desire.” The event, which was attended by 10 children and the head of the club, Svitlana, was held as part of the MHWP project with the support of the Government of Canada and ADRA Canada.
Neurography is a unique method of creative drawing that stimulates the formation of new neural connections in the brain that inspire and encourage new thoughts and ideas. Participants of the lesson drew neurolines, directing them so that they express the path to the goal. Also they painted circles – a symbol of what will help to realize the desire. The task of neurography is to ensure that desires are not just expressed, but prompted to action.
The children were in a good mood, showed interest and actively mastered a new method of art therapy for them.
