In Chernihiv, teachers restored internal balance at an art lesson with the ADRA Ukraine psychologist
On March 26, at Special School No. 1 in the city of Chernihiv, an art therapeutic lesson was held for teachers who teach children with hearing impairment and other special educational needs. ADRA Ukraine psychologist Yulia Bogush and facilitator Vladislava Voilo conducted an art lesson, the purpose of which was to restore internal balance and relieve stress for teachers. The event, which was attended by 11 teachers, was held as part of the MHWP project with the support of the Government of Canada and ADRA Canada.
During the event, teachers painted with paints, strengthening their mental health through creativity, performed association and grounding techniques. “It was fun and interesting!” – this is how its participants speak about the art-therapeutic activity.
