In Khmelnitsky for schoolchildren held a group lesson about mental health
On April 22, at the invitation of the library-branch No. 11 of the Centralized Library System of the Khmelnitsky City Territorial Community, a group lesson was held in the ADRA Ukraine premises in the city of Khmelnitsky for students of gymnasium No. 27 named after Dmitrii Ivaha. The theme of the event – “The importance of mental health” – was revealed to the specialists of the charitable organization using the materials of the interactive educational exhibition “Mental Trek.”
The classes were conducted by psychologist Olena Nynyk and facilitator Yulia Bufetchikova with the support of the Swedish charitable organization Radiohjälpen and ADRA Sweden.
During the event, the participants deepened their knowledge in the topic of mental health, got acquainted with the basic principles of its preservation, refuted some myths about human mental health and mastered the means of improving mental well-being. Each thematic station of the “Mental Trek” exhibition introduced children to important aspects of caring for mental health both in everyday life and in crisis situations.
