In Mykolaiv region, vulnerable categories of the people receive cash assistance from the UN World Food Programme
Residents of the Vesnyanska community of the Mykolaiv region, which has 16 settlements, continue to receive cash assistance instead of food kits from the UN World Food Programme. Assistance is provided with the support of ADRA Switzerland. The transfer to cash assistance is in action thanks to the efforts of ADRA Ukraine this year, the volunteers of this charitable organization were engaged in registration and verification of citizens. Now about 3,966 community residents receive UAH 1,500 per month. These are persons belonging to vulnerable categories: people with disabilities, large families, unemployed, single households, people 60 +, single fathers and single mothers.
