Kharkiv citizens received a generator with the support of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints
On December 30, ADRA Ukraine team delivered a generator to Kharkiv within the framework of the project, which provides for the provision of affected social infrastructure facilities in Kharkiv city and the region with electric generators. The equipment was purchased with the support of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Ukraine. This 68 kW generator is designed for an apartment building, most of whose residents belong to the faculty of the National Law University.
Residents of the house were in difficult conditions due to constant power outages caused by the destruction of the energy structure, which leads to the shutdown of elevators, heat and water supply. This complicates life of elderly people and persons with disabilities living in this house. So the need for a generator has become very strong. Thanks to the efforts of ADRA Ukraine and partners, it was possible to deliver the necessary equipment in a short time. The purchased generator has an engine named “Baudouin” and is of very high quality.
In general, during January and February, it is planned to deliver another 57 generators with a capacity of 30-300 kW to the most vulnerable places in Kharkiv and the region.
