Kupyansk city administration and ADRA Ukraine signed a Memorandum of cooperation in providing humanitarian assistance to citizens
On May 23, the charitable organization ADRA Ukraine signed a Memorandum of Cooperation with the Kupyansk city administration of Kharkiv region in order to implement projects of humanitarian assistance to the population affected by the war. The meeting with the head of the Kupyansk city military administration Andriy Besedin where were ADRA Ukraine’s representatives of the UN World Food Programme project: a Project Manager Roman Orlov, an Operations Manager Marina Potekha, a Protection Officer Philip Schubert. Also, the ADRA Ukraine team received Gratitude from the Kupyansk administration for cooperation since the beginning of the full-scale invasion.
By the UN World Food Programme project with the support of ADRA Switzerland, ADRA Ukraine volunteers distribute food packages and bread to residents of the Kupyansk community, and also bring humanitarian aid to people with limited mobility and elderly people. Volunteers of the charitable organization go to dangerous locations, to which most organizations can’t reach. Now ADRA Ukraine is actually the only organization that, in partnership with WFP, covers the entire population of the community with humanitarian aid.
