More than 71,000 people have received assistance within the framework of the project “Hope for Ukraine”
Every day, ADRA Ukraine team implements projects aimed at helping population of Ukraine affected by military operations. One of these projects is “Hope for Ukraine” project. Food and non-food assistance, provision of medicines, evacuation, provision of shelters and assistance in restoration of damaged buildings, door repair, etc. are main areas of assistance of the project. Due to this project, as of today, more than 23,000 people have received food assistance, about 5,000 people have been evacuated, and 42,100 people have received temporary and long-term shelters.
The project has covered more than 14 regions, including Zaporizhzhia, Poltava, Kirovohrad, Cherkasy, Odesa, Kyiv, Chernihiv, Zhytomyr, Vinnytsia, Sumy and other regions. Despite difficult circumstances, assistance is also provided in temporarily occupied territories of Kherson and Donetsk regions.
Medicines have been provided to Kharkiv City Perinatal Center, Novomoskovsk Central Regional Hospital for Intensive Care, Chernihiv City Maternity Hospital, Kropyvnytskyi City Maternity Hospital with Level II Perinatal Center Functions, National Specialized Hospital for Children “Okhmatdit” in Kyiv, Bucha City Hospital, and others.
The project continues being actively implemented in all declared areas.
