More than two hundred children for three months emotionally recovered in the “Your Camp”
In the village of Rzhavintsy, Chernivtsi region, the third rehabilitation run of the “Vidnovlennya” (EN: restoration) project was completed for children of dead soldiers, combatants and servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as well as for children in difficult life circumstances. The event, organized by the Christian camp “Your Camp”, was joined by professional psychologists ADRA Ukraine – Maria Gorodova, Julia Zalutska and Kateryna Zynchak. In September, October and November, the camp visited 70 children a month. A wonderful location in the Chernivtsi forest, a cozy atmosphere, as well as a caring team helped children to restore the resource, develop self-regulation skills, learn to express their feelings and find new sources of life joy and inspiration.
Rehabilitation camp for children is a place where they receive emotional, psychological and physical support aimed at their recovery and adaptation after the losses. The camp program contained various types of therapy: art therapy, training, group and individual consultations. Children also participated in team games, excursions and cultural events that helped them feel supported and realize that they are not alone in their experiences.
In addition to psychological assistance, the camp offers space for outdoor recreation, the development of creative abilities and meeting with new friends. Experienced psychologists, volunteers and mentors support each child, helping to find internal resources for further life. This is a place where children find comfort and new motivation for life, despite the heavy losses.
