People in need from Ochakiv have receive food kits from the UN World Food Programme
On January 19, ADRA Ukraine volunteers visited the city of Ochakiv, Mykolaiv Region, where they distributed food kits to vulnerable people with the support of the UN World Food Programme and ADRA Switzerland. The humanitarian aid was provided to the elderly people, people with disabilities, large families and unemployed individuals – about 300 people in total.
A 13 kg food kit contains flour, oil, oatmeal, pasta, sugar, salt, canned meat and beans.
We have planned to distribute the food kits to 4,173 residents of Ochakiv in January, and most of them have already been distributed.
