On February 21st, ADRA Ukraine volunteers distributed food kits and bread from the UN World Food Programme to vulnerable people in several settlements of the Izium District in Kharkiv Region with the support of ADRA Switzerland. On that day, 2,770 food kits were distributed to residents of Izium, Savintsy, Zaliman, Morozivka, Milova and Yakovenkove villages. In addition, 2,650 loaves of bread were distributed to residents of Nurovoye, Novoselivka, Zaliman, Dovhalivka, Vilkhuvatka, Borodoyarske, Synychenko and Kamyanka villages.
WFP distributes the bread on a weekly basis in the settlements of Kharkiv Region facing the most difficult food security situation due to the destruction of infrastructure as a result of the hostilities.
