Psychologists of ADRA Ukraine have conducted training for children with disabilities in Irpin
The meeting with the pupils of the creative club “Dyvosvit” in Irpin, Kyiv region, took place with the support of the Service for Children and Families of the Irpin City Council.
Yuliia Zaharnytska, a Psychologist, conducted an art therapy class “Sculpting from salt dough.” This practice helps in the development of mental functions through fine motor skills, and this is what is relevant for children. The flight of imagination in the process of learning was limitless. Everyone enjoyed the process!
In addition, the children received gift sets with the support of ADRA Austria, ADRA Norway and ADRA Belgium.
The training took place within the framework of Lifesaving Evacuation, Assistance and Protection (LEAP) project that also covers such areas of assistance as transport assistance in the form of evacuation trips and social transportation, provision of financial assistance.
