Rehabilitation camp became a place of strength and emotional recovery for children of Ukrainian Armed Forces soldiers
The first rehabilitation run of the “Restoration” project for children of fallen soldiers, combatants and servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was completed. The event, organized by the Christian camp “Your Camp”, was joined by professional psychologists ADRA Ukraine – Maria Gorodova, Julia Zalutska and Kateryna Zinchak. A wonderful location in the Chernivtsi forest, a cozy atmosphere, as well as a caring team helped 70 children cope with trauma, develop self-regulation skills, learn to express their feelings and find new sources of joy and inspiration.
Rehabilitation camp for children is a place where they received emotional, psychological and physical support aimed at their recovery and adaptation after the loss.
The camp program contains various types of therapy: art therapy, games, music, sports and group work with psychologists. Children also participated in team games, excursions and cultural events that helped them feel supported and realize that they are not alone.
In addition to psychological assistance, the camp offers space for outdoor recreation, the development of creative abilities and the acquisition of new friends. Experienced psychologists, volunteers and mentors support each child, helping to find internal resources for further life.
This is a place where children find comfort and new motivation for life, despite the heavy loss.
