Residents of a village in Kherson region have received food kits and bread from the UN World Food Programme
On 14 February, ADRA Ukraine volunteers distributed food kits and bread from the UN World Food Programme with the support of ADRA Switzerland in one of the villages of Chornobaivska community in Kherson Region. Residents of the village received 1400 food kits, and another 300 kits were intended for residents of neighboring settlements. Also, a part of the 2200 loaves of bread distributed will be transferred to other villages in the community.
The Chornobaivska community is a frontline area in the immediate vicinity of the city of Kherson, and the humanitarian situation there is quite difficult, so local residents are in great need of the food assistance. WFP food kits are distributed to residents in these settlements on a monthly basis (one kit per person), and bread is distributed weekly.
