Residents of Dnipropetrovsk region will receive financial assistance from ADRA Ukraine
On May 6, a meeting was held in Dnipro between representatives of ADRA Ukraine and the Charitable Fund “Pomogaem” (EN: “We are helping”). ㅤThe parties agreed on all the details of cooperation and signed an agreement on the exchange of beneficiary data. Currently, the process of verifying the information received is underway. It is expected that already in May large families and patronage families, households with persons with disabilities and other vulnerable categories of the population who were registered by CF “Pomogaem” (420 people already) will be able to receive vital multi-purpose cash assistance from ADRA Ukraine. The assistance is provided as part of a project supported by donors from Japan Platform and ADRA Japan.
Cooperation between ADRA Ukraine and CF “Pomogaem” became possible due to the active participation of both organizations in the referral program named “Cash Working Group”. Earlier, in January-February of this year, CF “Pomogaem” conducted registration among residents of the Dnipropetrovsk region to provide multi-purpose financial assistance. However, due to an unforeseen reduction in funding, the organization was unable to independently provide payments. In order to help the most vulnerable segments of the population, they turned to the “Cash Working Group” program. ADRA Ukraine promptly responded to this request, showing readiness to provide the necessary support.
