Residents of Kherson and Chornobaivka have received food assistance with the support of partners from Slovakia
1,320 food kits with basic food products and personal hygiene means from ADRA Ukraine have been delivered to de-occupied settlements of Kherson region. 1,150 food kits out of total number of kits were delivered to Kherson, 170 food kits to Chornobaivka village. Thus, this assistance has been provided to about 4,000 people (kits are distributed at the rate of one kit per family). The assistance is provided in partnership with ADRA Slovakia with the support of SlovakAid.
As a result of the military operations, settlements of Kherson region are experiencing a humanitarian disaster. Thus, food products are primarily intended for the most vulnerable categories of the population. Despite the difficult situation and circumstances on days of distribution, the assistance has been successfully provided to local residents.
Since the beginning of the project, about 15,840 people in need have already been provided with such food assistance in various regions of Ukraine.
In total, thanks to cooperation with ADRA Slovakia, 83,160 people in need have received assistance.
