Residents of Kyiv region have met with representatives of humanitarian organizations and received 900 food kits
On June 7, the distribution of supplemented general food aid kits was organized in Irpin within the framework of the project supported by the United Nations World Food Program (WFP) and ADRA Ukraine. A total of 900 kits have been distributed, consisting of rice, pasta, sunflower oil, canned meat and other products.
The event was attended by representatives of humanitarian organizations such as WFP and ADRA Ukraine. In particular, Matthew Dee, an Emergency Coordinator of WFP, and David Thomas, a Program Director of WFP, were present at this event.
The Emergency Food Assistance Project, supported by WFP and ADRA Ukraine, has started in April 2022 and continues to be actively implemented. Currently, assistance is provided in eight regions of Ukraine and operates in four areas. There is a distribution of: essential kits; fresh bread; supplemented general food aid kits; baby food for children from 6 to 23 months.
