Residents of Myrne village in Mykolaiv region received assistance from the UN World Food Programme
On February 14, ADRA Ukraine volunteers distributed 117 food kits to residents of Myrne (EN: peaceful) village, which is part of Shevchenkove community located in Mykolaiv region. The assistance was provided in cooperation with the UN World Food Programme and ADRA Switzerland.
During the war fighting, 80-90% of the houses in Myrne village were destroyed or damaged. The people who received aid are residents who returned home after de-occupation. Currently, there are no shops in the village, and access to social infrastructure is really difficult. Therefore, local residents receive free food kits and bread to hands, which is an important support in the conditions of community recovery.
