Residents of the frontline Cherkaska community in Donetsk region received food kits from the UN WFP
On March 11, the ADRA Ukraine team distributed 541 food kits from the UN World Food Programme to residents of the village of Oleksandrivka, Cherkaska community, Donetsk region. Assistance is provided with the support of ADRA Switzerland.
Donetsk region remains one of the regions most affected by hostilities. In many settlements, people live in difficult conditions: part of the infrastructure is destroyed or damaged, opportunities for stable earnings are limited, and access to products for some families remains difficult.
The Cherkaska community is located near the frontline, so every resident has the right to receive a kit with food. Currently, ADRA Ukraine provides community residents with food kits from the UN WFP every month, supporting families living near the war zone.
