Social institutions in Odesa received products from the UN World Food Programme
On March 24, ADRA Ukraine volunteers delivered a total of 934 food kits from the UN World Food Programme to 8 institutions in Odesa city. Products provided with the support of ADRA Switzerland are intended for cooking in the kitchens of these social, medical and other centers. The number of kits is equal to the number of people receiving assistance in these institutions.
Among the institutions that received the kits: Odesa Regional Charitable Foundation “Ostriv Nadiyi” (EN: Island of Hope), Regional Center for Social and Psychological Assistance, Rehabilitation Center “Sofia”, St. Archangel Michael’s Convent, Ukrainian Medical Center for Rehabilitation of Mother and Child, Center for Assistance to Persons Affected by Domestic Violence, Odesa City Center for Reintegration of Persons without a Fixed Place of Residence, Center for Social and Psychological Assistance to Internally Displaced Persons.
Each food kit has more than 5 kg weight and was created for one person in the institution. The kit contains basic products, including flour, sugar, oil, oatmeal, cereals and other products.
