Social workers in Kharkiv city learned to overcome emotional burnout
On March 6, a lecture and training for employees on the topic “Prevention of emotional burnout: how to identify it and ways to overcome” were held in the Lipetsk humanitarian hub of Kharkiv city. The event was held by ADRA Ukraine psychologist Anastasia Bondarenko and facilitator Anna Krupko within the “MHWP” project with the support of the Government of Canada and ADRA Canada.
During the training, eight hub employees learned to identify signs of emotional burnout, understand its causes, and also mastered practical ways to prevent and overcome it.
The Lipetsk humanitarian hub of Kharkiv city provides assistance to residents of the Lipetsk community of the Kharkiv region, who were forced to evacuate due to increased hostilities. As ADRA Ukraine employees explain, psychological support in war conditions is needed not only for people of vulnerable categories, but also for social workers who help people in need.
