Teenage girls painted a common picture at the psychological training from ADRA Ukraine in Poltava
On September 25, a psychological training session for teenagers belonging to vulnerable categories was held at the ADRA Ukraine Protection and Support Center in Poltava. Psychologist Natalia Stepanenko and facilitator Inna Borisenko helped five girls overcome the consequences of negative emotional manifestations. The event was supported by Radiohjälpen and ADRA Sweden.
The purpose of the training was to work out the personal causes and motives of irritation and aggression, safe overcoming of their consequences, conscious transformation of negative emotional manifestations. Participants of the training shared their own experience, developed effective coping strategies (adaptive forms of behavior to keep the inner balance). The participants also performed the art-therapeutic exercise “Our Common Picture”. Each painted his own individual fragment for the overall picture.
Such meetings at the ADRA Ukraine Protection and Support Center in Poltava take place every Wednesday, it helps visitors to find an internal resource in this difficult time.
