The head of the Kherson region presented a gratitude for humanitarian assistance to the volunteers of ADRA Ukraine
On May 14, the team of volunteers of the project from the UN World Food Programme, which is implemented with the support of ADRA Ukraine and ADRA Switzerland, have received a gratitude from the head of the Kherson OVA Oleksandr Prokudin. It notes the contribution of the charitable organization and its partners to the humanitarian situation in the region, as they have been systematically supporting the residents of Kherson region since the beginning of the full-scale invasion.
Thus, as part of the UN WFP, bread is supplied to hospitals in Kherson, Velika Oleksandrivka, Bilozerka, and Novovorontsovka settlements in the amount of 1,110 loaves per week.
As Oleksandr Prokudin noted, volunteers of the charitable organization provide constant assistance to employees and patients of healthcare institutions, evacuate residents from front-line communities, provide social transport for people with limited mobility, provide hospitals with bread, and financially support vulnerable categories of the population. In general, assistance is provided within several projects.
