The importance of serving others was discussed on the anniversary of the Lyceum “Zhyve Slovo” in Lviv
In November, educational specialist of ADRA Ukraine Yana Reznikova visited the celebration on the occasion of the 15th anniversary of the private lyceum “Zhyve Slovo” (EN: Living Word) in Lviv. The guest spoke with the audience about the importance of serving others, which is one of the priority values of the educational institution. After all, for the third year in a row, the project “Restoration with Love” continues on the basis of the lyceum with the support of the Marienhöhe Schulzentrum school (Germany), as well as ADRA Germany.
In addition, the specialist presented memorable gifts to the administration of the Lyceum, and also conveyed gratitude for the years of cooperation on behalf of the head of ADRA Ukraine – Leonid Rutkovsky.
Within the framework of the “Recovery with Love” project, comprehensive assistance is provided to people affected by the war. From 2022 to now, in cooperation with ADRA Ukraine, the “Zhyve Slovo” Lyceum has provided assistance to more than 1 000 unique beneficiaries. Last year alone, there was 3 large family events, 9 group sessions with ADRA Ukraine psychologists, 17 events for beneficiaries related to other projects and 53 individual consultations with ADRA Ukraine psychologists. Also, 17 teachers of the Lyceum and 60 teachers of other educational institutions attended group classes with psychologists of ADRA Ukraine.
