The MHWP project anounce: Ukrainians will receive fuel briquettes, psychological assistance and protection

This winter, a new ADRA Ukraine project called MHWP (Mental Health, Winterization and Protection) was launched with the support of the Government of Canada and ADRA Canada. It aims to improve mental health, help with winter preparation and protect vulnerable populations. The project contains three components. The first – Cash for Fuel – is aimed at paying funds for the purchase of fuel briquettes to residents of the Vertyivka community in the Chernihiv region. The MHPSS component provides psychological assistance in six new protection centers, which are being opened in the cities of Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Dnipro, Kryvyi Rih, Mykolaiv; The third component of solid fuel distribution is planned to provide fuel briquettes to 500 households in five regions (Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Dnipro and Mykolaiv) for the winter period 2025-2026.

The MHWP project began on January 15 this year and is planned to last until May 31, 2026.
