The shelter for internally displaced persons is equipped with a heating system thanks to ADRA Ukraine and Czech partners
With the support of ADRA Czech Republic, the charitable organization has installed a heating system powered by a solid fuel boiler on three floors of the shelter for IDPs in Kamianka, Cherkasy region.
The heating system in the premises is divided into four zones with the ability to control the temperature regime from a point located in the boiler room. The boiler house itself is equipped with a solid fuel boiler with a capacity of 100 kW. The employees of the organization have also installed circulation pumps, a 2000-liter heat accumulator, boiler automation, replaced the pipes of the steam system and radiators on the first and second floors that provide heat for the residents of this premise.
