Training in Chernihiv helped teenagers to see their strengths and believe in themselves
On May 19, at the ADRA Ukraine Protection and Support Center in the city of Chernihiv, a training was held for pupils of an out-of-school educational institution on the topic “Self-esteem as an important element of social adaptation of adolescents.” The event is organized within the “MHWP” project with the support of the Government of Canada and ADRA Canada.
Psychologist Julia Bogush and facilitator Vladislava Voilo, together with the participants, explored the concept of healthy self-esteem. Teenagers learned to see their strengths, treat themselves with love, and also emphasize their uniqueness. Participants of the training were looking for ways to develop new qualities – those that will help them better interact with the outside world and find inner support in difficult life situations.
