Verification of cash assistance beneficiaries from the UN WFP continues in Izium
In April, the verification process of multi-purpose cash assistance beneficiaries from the UN World Food Programme continues in the Kharkiv region.
In particular, the verification is currently taking place in the city of Izium and will last until April 17. Previously, the events had already taken place in the Shevchenkivska and Kunivska communities, and by the end of the month, verification was also planned in the Bogodukhivska community.
Verification is carried out by ADRA Ukraine with the support of ADRA Switzerland.
Currently, the amount of assistance is 1,800 UAH per person. Previously, the amount of payments was 1,200 UAH, but it was increased in accordance with the updated terms of the program.
Households comprising at least one representative from a vulnerable category are entitled to benefits. These categories include:
• People with disabilities;
• Low-income families;
• Single mothers or fathers;
• Large families;
• Persons who have lost their jobs;
• Elderly people (age 60+) living alone;
• People who are registered or receive care in territorial centers.
The verification process is aimed at ensuring the targeting of assistance and supporting those most in need.
