Wards of Zhytomyr boarding house sang Ukrainian songs – art therapy with ADRA Ukraine
In Zhytomyr Geriatric Boarding House (Ivanivka village), a series of trainings continues with the participation of ADRA Ukraine psychologist Yulia Zalutska and facilitator Anna Khvelos. The project donors are Radiohjälpen and ADRA Sweden.
At one of the trainings held on August 22 under the title “Art Therapy. Musical practices. ” wards of the boarding house “painted ” music; recalled what things once caused a storm of emotions in their life; overcome difficulties in interpersonal communication; sang Ukrainian folk songs; gave themselves the right to be imperfect (not professional singers), allowed themselves to be simple, feel and express their real feelings.
Also, psychologist Julia Zalutska and facilitator Anna Khvelos joined the congratulations of a resident of the boarding house – Lyubov Adamovich, who celebrated her 100th birthday on the day of this training. She received wishes of good health.
