With the support of UHF fund of the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs/OCHA Ukraine, the project “Assistance during the winter period of 2022-2023 in Kyiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk and Kharkiv regions” is being implemented.
Within the framework of the project, assistance was provided to the population of the frontline communities of Dnipropetrovsk and Donetsk regions:
• Bullerjan calorific furnaces have been delivered to create three warming centers for residents of Zelenodol community of Dnipropetrovsk region. Thanks to the arrangement of these centers, the residents of the communities will be able to avoid emergency situations during the heating season.
• At the request of Toretsk military-civilian administration (Donetsk region), Buleryan calorific furnaces have been provided for the Center for Primary Health Care in Toretsk.
• Assistance in the preparation of premises for warming centers that will be located in the buildings of rural dispensaries in such villages as Pivnichnyi settlement, Zaliznyi, Shcherbynovtsi settlement and New York settlement of Donetsk region. The provision of warming centers in the community is extremely important, as there is no water, gas or central heating in the community due to constant rocket fire, and the electricity supply is in a critical state.
• Address delivery of fuel briquettes to households of the Sviatogorsk community of Donetsk region has been completed. In total, 124 tons of solid fuel have been distributed to 124 households in the region.
