IDPs in Poltava region and elderly people in Kharkiv region have received humanitarian aid with the support of ADRA Slovakia
Food kits are being distributed in cooperation with ADRA Slovakia. Last week, this assistance was provided in several settlements at once.
IDPs from hot spots and occupied territories of the country living in Novoselivka village, Poltava region, have received food assistance from ADRA Ukraine, including food kits with the support of ADRA Slovakia.
Humanitarian kits have been delivered to a shelter for elderly people in Kharkiv region due to joint efforts of local public organizations and with the support of Marek Štefan, an authorized Ambassador of Slovakia to Ukraine. These humanitarian kits consist of food and personal hygiene items. The houses of many of these people were destroyed, some were forced to leave their homes due to constant shelling, others were evacuated from populated areas of the region. The majority of shelter residents are over 80 years old. There are people who are almost 100 years old. Some people are mobile, but most of them are bedridden and can only get around in wheelchairs. So, this assistance was extremely necessary for them.
In general, since the beginning of the project, thanks to the assistance of ADRA Slovakia, about 69,960 people in need have already received such assistance.
