The next distribution of certificates for restoration of housing for residents of Kyiv region took place
Within the framework of the project, with the support of ADRA Network partners (ADRA Germany, ADRA China, ADRA Czech Republic, ADRA France, ADRA Italy, ADRA Norway, ADRA Portugal, ADRA Australia), as well as ADRA International, the charitable organization ADRA Ukraine continues to help people whose homes were damaged as a result of hostilities. Recently, another 25 families of Borodianka, Kyiv region, have received assistance in the form of certificates for housing restoration.
Borodianka is a village that suffered significant destruction at the beginning of a full-scale invasion. Many houses were completely destroyed – the settlement became one of the most affected in the region. Before the start of the full-scale war, almost 13,000 people lived in Borodianka, most of whom became either homeless or were left with uninhabitable houses and need help in restoration of their houses.
Due to the project, people from other regions who lost their homes have been provided with shelters equipped with everything necessary for a comfortable stay.
