Participants of psychological training in Poltava learned to overcome shame and guilt
Psychological training “Shame and Guilt. The path to real yourself” The event, which was held by psychologist Natalia Stepanenko and facilitator Inna Borisenko, was attended by 8 people aged 14 to 23 years. The event was made possible thanks to the support of ADRA Australia.
The psychologist told the audience about shame and guilt, then the training with elements of art therapy began. Each participant took a metaphorical card, drew a drawing, talked about herself, and the rest complimented what they liked most about this participant. Finally, the girls talked through each other’s strengths and thus found an internal resource to manifest themselves externally as they feel.
This training is weekly, it takes place at ADRA Ukraine Poltava Center for Protection and Support every Wednesday. Group trainings are joined by citizens who initially receive individual consultations to a psychologist.
