On October 24th, food kits from the UN World Food Programme were distributed in Mykolaivka, Kramatorsk District, Donetsk Region. That day, ADRA Ukraine volunteers distributed 597 kits among people aged 60+ from vulnerable populations.
We are planning to distribute a total of over 2 000 food kits among vulnerable individuals over 60 years of age in Mykolaivka. Currently, the town residents are eligible to receive one food kit per person once a month. People can apply for the assistance immediately at the distribution site.
Mykolaivka is located in the immediate vicinity to the frontline (around 20 km), therefore local residents desperately need humanitarian aid. Since February 2023 until today, ADRA Ukraine has distributed 45 190 food kits in Mykolaivka as part of the project supported by the UN WFP.
