Employees of ADRA Canada had a monitoring visit to Ukrainian cities where work psychologists and psychotherapists of LEAR project, which is implemented with the support of the Government of Canada and ADRA Canada.

The first meeting with the beneficiaries was in Kyiv office of ADRA Ukraine charity organization. Canadian representatives heard the stories of people with the status of internally displaced persons who lost their family members at the front. This really impressed the guests from Canada. All those who came to visit from Canada were presented with yellow and blue hearts, hand-maded by a group of beneficiaries in memory of sincere and open people from Ukraine.

During the meeting at the shelter “Misto Dobra” in Chernivtsi, which is a center for children and women IDPs, the administration of the facility presented a letter of thanks to the representatives of ADRA Ukraine and ADRA Canada for supporting the shelter. Women living in this institution shared their difficult story. There, the delegates visited a newly built hospice for 20 seriously ill children. Chidern are admitted for free: children with disabilities, babies who need special medical care, with impaired moving functions and children who need palliative care.

In the transit shelter in Lviv — the Center for Support and Protection of the Borys Woznytskyi Charitable Foundation, guests from Canada met with immigrants from Bakhmut. Now the Lviv shelter is actively accepting people from the Kharkiv and Zaporizhia regions.
