Children in Zhytomyr learned how to cope with their emotions during psychological training by ADRA Ukraine
On July 11th, at the Educational Center of State Institution “Superhero School” located at V. Y. Bashek Children Hospital under Zhytomyr City Council, ADRA Ukraine arranged a training for children undergoing medical treatment at the in-patient unit. The event facilitated by psychologist Yulia Zalutska was focused on the topic of emotional states and art-therapy as a method of coping with negative emotions. During the training, the kids got the understanding of key concepts, learned how to recognize own emotions and emotional state of the environment, developed psychological resilience, learned the methods of relieving emotional tension and anxiety, developed the feeling of self-worth.
The event was arranged as part of the GFFO project supported by the German Federal Foreign Office and ADRA Germany.
