In Zhytomyr, participants of psychological training from ADRA Ukraine restored their mind and body balance
In Zhytomyr on June 5 in the ADRA Ukraine IDPs center of protection and support was a training named “Emotions and what to do with them” (psychological skills of self-regulation with bodynamic exercises) under the guidance of of psychologist Julia Zalutska. The training was attended by four people whom has his own traumatic experience associated with the war in Ukraine. The event was possible thanks to the support of Aktion Deutschland Hilft and ADRA Deutschland within the “PEACE Bridging Period” project.
Participants of the training were: a displaced woman from the war-affected Luhansk region, a young actor, world champion in kickboxing “Piranha”, and Svitlana, who brings up a teenager alone, because dad died in the war.
The participants got a knowledge for the better understanding of their emotional condition and the condition of other people, considered the principles of emotions, got acquainted with the Bodyknot communication model, performed bodynamic exercises. Thanks to this meeting, the participants harmonized their mind and body balance.
