Residents of Pokrovsk and IDPs hosted in the city received legal aid from ADRA Ukraine
On September 28th, ADRA Ukraine’s professional lawyer Yevhen Strashko visited Pokrovsk, Donetsk Region, as part of a mobile outreach team from the Protection Center Dnipro to offer free-of-charge legal aid for most vulnerable populations and IDPs. Nine people applied for legal aid, and twelve consultations on various topics were provided.
Beneficiaries were most interested in the legal issues especially relevant during the time of war, such as the procedure for applying for survivor insurance benefit, the procedure for collection of parental support alimony, the procedure for collecting alimony debt, the procedure for establishing ownership of housing, the procedure for obtaining a Ukrainian national passport, etc.
Legal assistance was provided as part of thr GFFO project supported by the German Federal Foreign Office, Aktion Deutschland Hilft and ADRA Germany.
