Residents of Zaporizhzhia and Dnipropetrovsk regions have gained access to infrastructure thanks to ADRA Ukraine social transport
In October, as part of the project supported by the German Federal Foreign Office (GFFO), ADRA Ukraine launched free social transportation in four communities of Zaporizhzhia and Dnipropetrovsk regions.
In particular, on October 17, social routes were opened in Apostolivska and Zelenodol communities of Kryvorih district of Dnipropetrovsk region. The population of these two territorial communities totals about forty thousand residents. Internally displaced persons from neighboring areas also come here daily. Communities are practically on the front lines, and as a result, they experience daily destruction and sometimes loss of residents. Therefore, social transportation is extremely important for the population because it provides an opportunity to get to medical, social and administrative institutions for free.
As of today, there are nine social routes operating in Apostolivsk and Zelenodol communities that cover 18 settlements.
