ADRA Ukraine and the Ukrainian Deminers Association joined forces to support mine-risk education victims
The charitable organization ADRA Ukraine signed a memorandum of cooperation with the public organization «Ukrainian Deminers Association» (UDA). Within the framework of the partnership, it is planned to provide psychological assistance to people who have suffered as a result of mine activity.
In particular, ADRA Ukraine will hold one psychological session each for 1,000 beneficiaries sent by the UDA. From this group, a separate list of 150 people will be formed who need deeper support — they will be given from 6 to 20 individual sessions for full rehabilitation.
A total of 4,000 sessions will be held within the initiative, of which 20 — are group, the remaining — are individual.
In addition, ADRA Ukraine plans to organize training on protection from sexual exploitation and abuse (PSEA) for staff, volunteers and involved specialists.
