ADRA Ukraine concluded memorandums of cooperation with the Red Cross and NGO «Zahody» in Dnipro city
In the city of Dnipro, the team of the WMTW Ukraine project, which is implemented by ADRA Ukraine, signed memorandums of cooperation with the Dnipro district organization of the Red Cross Society of Ukraine and the public organization «Zahody».
The project «Safe water, mental peace, social transport and winterization for Ukraine affected by conflict – WMTW Ukraine» is supported by Aktion Deutschland Hilft (ADH), ADRA Czech Republic. Its purpose is to provide free legal assistance and advice to people affected by the war in Ukraine.
NGO «Zahody» — is a youth organization founded in Mariupol that currently works with youth and internally displaced persons. Its activities are aimed at supporting mental health, particularly in the area of combating gender-based violence (GBV).
As part of the partnership with the district organization of the Red Cross Society of Ukraine, representatives of ADRA Ukraine will jointly visit remote communities: colleagues from the Red Cross will provide humanitarian aid, and ADRA — specialists will provide legal and psychological support to the population.
The memorandum signed also provide for joint activities to prevent gender-based violence, bullying and develop a culture of non-violent communication. Special attention will be paid to working with veterans, their families and young people, as well as promoting mental health in communities.
