Within the framework of the project, with the support of the Ukraine Humanitarian Fund, residents of Kyiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Kharkiv and Donetsk regions continue to receive assistance in housing restoration provided by ADRA Ukraine.

In particular, during April 2023, the organization implemented the following activities in the regions.

Kyiv region: certificates for the purchase of construction materials have been distributed. Thus, 13 households have received certificates for carrying out light repairs, 9 households for repairs of medium complexity for the total amount of UAH 1,384,500. The organization has also started repair work in seven apartment buildings.

Dnipropetrovsk region: repair work has begun in five shelters for IDPs. The installation of metal-plastic windows in Marianske village has been completed. In total, 52 households have received assistance.

Kharkiv region: 91 certificates have been distributed to households affected by hostilities in Pisochyn. Repair work has begun in three shelters for IDPs. Construction materials have been distributed to 35 households affected by the war in Cherkaska Lozova village and Lisove village of Kharkiv region.

Donetsk region: work on the installation of metal-plastic windows has begun in Sydorove village, Kramatorsk district, Donetsk region, for 40 households. Repair work is being carried out in the shelter for IDPs in Pokrovsk. The distribution of 390 tons of fuel briquettes to residents of Sviatohirsk community of Donetsk region has been completed.

Zaporizhzhia region: residents of apartment buildings that suffered from a rocket attack in Zaporizhzhia on March 22 this year have received certificates for the purchase of construction materials for the total amount of UAH 2,044,500.

The assistance provided is especially important for residents of the frontline regions, whose housing was damaged as a result of hostilities. The project also improves living conditions in shelters for people who have been forced to leave their homes.
